I was doing a coolant backflush to get all the rust water out of my engine block. In the process, something went wrong and the engine won't start at all. The only thing that visually got wet in my eyes was the PTU unit mounted on the timing cover. Would this cause it to not be able to start? I'm planning on pulling the plenum, checking spark plugs, and clearing the engine cylinders of fuel by cranking it a few times. Then I'm gonna put it all back together and see what happens. But anyone have any ideas? It seems highly unlikely than water would have gotten into the cylinders. It's cranking but not turning over.
